ABOUT ME
Software Developer
During my years of experience in the tech industry I have learned how to use many different popular programming languages including C#, C++, Python, Java, and many others. My knowledge of these languages not only allows me to be very versatile and able to work on most programming projects, but they also make it easy to learn new languages, since most skills can be carried over very easily. I have had over 5 years of experience in the programming industry by now, working well in groups and on solo projects.
PORTFOLIO
Major Projects
Here is a quick view of some of the major projects I've worked on. Click on them or move over to the Portfolio tab to view more information about these projects.
Get Moving
Get Moving is a fast paced First Person Zombie Survival game. With custom built player movement and enemy AI, you must attempt to reach the end of each level while avoiding the zombies. You must use credits from zombies to unlock pathways forward and to refill your ammo. You can also spend credits on unlocking new guns to better defend yourself from the zombies. The game also has an endless mode when you attempt to survive for as long as you can while more and more zombies spawn.
The game can be found on Itch.io and on Steam.

VolunQueer Enterprise Project
I worked with VolunQueer to update existing features to work better. I updated the event recommendation system and event searching systems. I also tested out features to ensure that they were working smoothly after the database migration.
I also was one of the primary people working on migrating the database from Supabase to Amazon Web Services. I also helped in taking the site from local only to being accessible on AWS Amplify.

Frameworks Eyewear Enterprise Project
I worked with Frameworks Eyewear to add multiple crucial features that are mainstays on their website. I helped create the Physical Counts page, a page where users can easily count the inventory the company has, as well as having ways to add all items of a specific category that hasn't yet been counted. I also added the ability to edit previous counts, or undo counts to revert the product counts back to how they originally were.
I also worked on the Invoice page. This page is for keeping track of any invoices that the company makes. It displays all of the information on the invoice, and users can attach files to invoices. The invoice will also display the total cost, and the individual cost of items. When an invoice is submitted, it will also add any items that were on the invoice to inventory.

DragonFiAR Enterprise Project

Job Experience
Here is an overview of the previous jobs I've had.
VolunQueer Internship - Software Developer
I worked in a team to develop and deploy a web application that matches volunteers to organizations for volunteer work. This includes creating users and events, joining those events, notifying users and organizations about important things, and user on user messaging.
Our team migrated the database and program onto the Amazon Web Service systems, using Amplify for the website and backend, RDS for the database, and Cognito for user authentication.

Frameworks Eyewear Internship - Website Developer
I greatly helped out with the creation of the Frameworks Eyewear Website. I also helped out with some of the ideas for things that got added to the site, and helped with bug testing many of the features on the website. I used communication skills and teamwork to make the workflow smooth, and to get the project very close to done in my short time with them.
DragonFiAR Internship - Game Developer
My team started the production of a new game for DragonFiAR. This production started with coming up with the idea for the game, and how gameplay would work. We then went and developed most all of the key features of the game, and made the structure that the rest of the game was developed on.
Mo' Bettahs - Shift Lead and Certified Trainer
I worked at Mo' Bettahs as both a Shift Lead and a Certified Trainer. During my time I led teams through shifts, handled customer service, and worked with my team to make sure we were giving guests the best experience we could. I also was able to train new employees, and get them ready for the fast paced workflow of the company.
